Lampagyar cadet trainer .22LR

Thought I should share this picture of my wife's Hungarian Lampagyar cadet trainer .22LR built in the 1950's they were designed to mimic the action of the Mosin Nagant for training purposes, however being a single shot .22LR I am not quite sure how that works!

Anyway, it is a very accurate little thing with open sights calibrated to 200m and with such a heavy barrel has virtually no recoil and is surprisingly quiet as well.

Nice ! :) I like the single shots, the heavy barrel reminds me of my Lithgow Enfield trainer, you could pull the trigger with the buttplate on your nose and feel nothing. 8) 8) 8) 8)

If my eyes were better I could probably hit things with it as well! (Age thing) It is fun to use though and yes recoil is so light I bet you could shoot it with your nose on the butt plate :D
